Catering Creations will finally be able to increase its sales, thanks to its decision to relocate to central Omaha.

In addition to the 13 full-time jobs being created due to the relocation, Omaha can also be happy to know that this will bring a new event center to the city and revitalization of a vacant building.

The company has experienced limited sales growth over the years due to space constrictions forcing them to turn business away. Now, with the relocation to a renovated downtown warehouse, the company will have four times more refrigerator space in its 30,000-square-foot property.

The $3.2 million project is expected to bring more life and boost curb appeal in the city. This will help to increase commercial business in the downtown area.

To add an extra boost to life in the area, there will also be new landscape to look forward to. An outdoor courtyard and a water feature are planned to help bring more energy in the neighborhood.

The company has big plans for the finished project. Guests will be welcomed into a ballroom that will seat 300, and they will enjoy tasting the catering creations in a large tasting room complete with a window into the kitchen to see the chefs at work. This is the first time the company will cater events on site.

Currently, Catering Creations staffs 14 full-time workers and 120 part time. Thirteen more full-time workers will be needed, and more part-time workers are needed as well.

This new location in Omaha is the 3rd home for the company, which was founded in 2002.
