Lincoln, Omaha among top towns for recent college grads

According to a list compiled by businessinsider.com, Lincoln is America’s sixth best city for recent college grads, while Omaha tied for 12th. Low unemployment helped push both cities to the top of the listings.

Lincoln was also noted for a young population base, with 25.2 percent of its citizens between the age 20 and 34. Omaha scored well for its affordable apartment rent rates.

Overall, Fargo, North Dakota, took the top spot, followed by Washington, D.C., in second and Austin, Texas, in third. Madison, Wisconsin, and Boston rounded out the top five. To see the complete Business Insider list, go here.
