Pizza, video store, 60 jobs coming to Omaha

In a former Blockbuster video store near 84th Street and Giles Road in Omaha, Family Video and Marco’s Pizza will open a co-branded store and hire up to 60 workers. It is set to open by the end of the month.

Glenview, Illinois-based Family Video previously had retrofitted shuttered video stores of former competitors.

It also will feature a counter for Marco’s Pizza inside the store. The company began adding pizza options to its stores earlier this year. The Omaha Marco’s inside Family Video is set to open by the end of October.

Construction on the building has begun, and Marco’s is hiring 30-45 workers. Family Video is looking for about 15-20 employees. See job opportunities for both Marco’s and Family Video here.

Marco’s also is on the move, with one planned for a Family Video in Fremont, and one in Lincoln set to open by the end of the year.
