Telecom provider opens Nebraska City office

Telecom firm Spiral Communications is setting up an office in Nebraska City. The company has a ribbon cutting ceremony planned for Oct. 8.

According to its website, Spiral offers high-speed Internet, technology support and services, wireless community networks and VoIp phone systems. It specializes in bringing those services to underserved communities in Southeast Nebraska. It also provides technical support to school districts in the region.

The company is moving into a 140-year-old building it purchased and restored at 800 Central Ave.
