Seward company shines in solar business

SEWARD – Two Nebraska entrepreneurs are growing their company, Green Energy Nebraska, and are providing innovative solutions to ensure that solar panels are correctly installed. They have found an increase in demand as more homes and businesses add solar panels as a source of power and clean energy.

Ken Schmieding and Kevan Stepp provide step-by-step instructions to help those with solar panels to correctly install them for maximum efficiency. It also helps farm owners who have installed solar panels to assist in their operations.

The company has set up a headquarters in Seward at 2609 Pine Road. The company has solar panels on display for customers in inspect. Visitors also can see inverter boxes that convert the sun’s energy into usable power. Green Energy does not manufacture the panels, but the company does work to make sure they are properly mounted before delivering them to customers.

Green Energy provides evaluations on energy usage to customers and recommends tactics for getting the most out of the solar panels. The company works to help solar panel users reduce their electric bills as low as possible.
