WalletHub ranks Omaha as great place to find a job

OMAHA – Website WalletHub has named Omaha the seventh best city in which to find a job. Omaha jumped from the 22nd spot on the same list last year.

The website looked at the 150 most-populous cities around the country. Factors included employment growth, job opportunities, median salary and other factors. The ranking, in part, was due to the city’s 2.3 percent unemployment rate for those who have attained at least a bachelor’s degree.

WalletHub also mentioned Omaha’s median income, at $54,200, which is higher than most other cities on the list.
