CanCooker heats up Fremont expansion
FREMONT, Neb. — The owner of CanCooker has watched his business grow by leaps and bounds and is soon set to expand the company’s headquarters and distribution center.
Seth McGinn started the company to offer a simple, healthy alternative to cooking by using a cream can. Demand for his signature cans has grown to the point that he is adding 10,000 square feet at his headquarters. The company began in a storage unit and has grown to the point that the products can be found on the shelves at stores like Cabela’s, Bass Pro Shops and Walmart.
The new addition will give the company 27,000 square feet, and it will allow for additional office space and staff. He currently has 10 full-time employees.
McGinn said the company received orders for more than 60,000 of the products in 2014. The company also offers a smaller version of the CanCooker, portable gas burners and cutting boards.
