Frills coming to No Frills supermarkets in Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. — Two discount grocery stores in Omaha are expanding their offerings to include sushi and Starbucks coffee.

Four No Frills stores and two Bag ‘N Saves will be rebranded Family Fare also will include organic food options, expanded delis, additional craft beer selections, Panini bars and loyalty programs.

Despite the rebranding, the company will keep 11 No Frills stores and six Bag ‘N Save locations. The Family Fare stores are designed to compete with other grocers that offer upscale items and organic and natural food options.
