Looking for a paid internship? Omaha tops national list

OMAHA, Neb. — Omaha topped InternMatch‘s 2015 State of College Hiring report list for paid internships.

It reported that more than 80 percent of internships in the city are paid. It cited Omaha’s utilities and manufacturing sectors, which were two of the top areas for paid internships.

Interns in Nebraska make $12.28 per hour, which is on pace with major cities like Washington, D.C. The report stated that those who have paid internships are three times more likely to get job offers than those who had unpaid internships.
